A simple and sophisticated nursery for a little girl!
My favorite color is lavender, and I've always wanted a lavender nursery for my little girl. Plus, my husband was opposed to pink! It is such a soothing color for a little girls room
traditional, but also modern. Clean lines and lots of whites, white crown moldings with pale wall paint colors
Lavender paint is: Frazee Pre Dawn CL2441W http://www.frazeepaint.com/ Bedding and Changing Table cover is from Land of Nod www.landofnod.com Chandelier, all furniture, butterfly mobile and lavender drawer knobs/hooks from Pottery Barn Kids http://www.potterybarnkids.com/ Diaper Bag from Serena and Lily www.serenaandlily.com A friend custom made the purple basket liners to fit in the white wicker baskets from Potery Barn Kids
The chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids, the lavender and white polka-dot drawer pulls from PBK, and the lavender damask bedding from Land of Nod
go lighter on the wall color than you think - at least two shades lighter in my opinion. It will always look softer, brighter, and more modern this way. I really didn't want a "cutesy" nursery with lots of characters, so I went for a simple palate to achieve a more grown up/sophisticated look.
