The room was designed for my son Kix Atticus. We are a soccer family and Kix is OBSESSED with anything "ball". I painted the soccer mural background and the triptych canvas paintings. We kept everything low cost with shelving and dresser storage from Ikea. The locker nightstands were purchased through KidKraft. The soccer bed was handmade by Kix's PawPaw. Design Inspiration:
My inspiration started was the theme soccer of course! My husband really wanted his favorite soccer team's logo in the room, so my challenge was to try and incorporate that in a "kid friendly" way.

Project Details:
We love the book "I Love You Through and Through". It served as a perfect inspiration for the artwork above the bed. My dad did a FANTASTIC job creating the bed for Kix. It's something completely different from anything we have ever seen.
I also suggest getting good pictures! I found a high school student that is planning on majoring in photographing when he goes to college in the fall. He got some great experience and I got amazing photos!
