Where the Wild Things Are Nursery

I have always loved the book "Where the Wild Things Are" so when I found out I was having a boy I knew I wanted to theme the nursery after one of my favorite books. Once I started planning the room out I knew I did not want to the room to be to theme orientated, I wanted a subtle hint of the book. The first thing I chose was the navy blue crib which inspired the built in book shelves and the rest of the color scheme. I also knew I wanted one wall with wall paper and I thought the birch wood look made the room feels cozy and woodsy which was perfect for my theme! For the last details of the rooms I wanted a pop of color so I chose yellow to brighten up the room a little bit.
