Jaxx’s Nautical Nursery

Description

My husband and I have always wanted to create a classy, nautical nursery for our soon to be newborn. Through a lot of hard work (mainly done by my husband) and inspiration we were able to create a nursery that we are in LOVE with!

Design Inspiration

We knew we wanted to incorporate gray into the room but we did not want to have a solid gray room. This is when we feel in love with the navy nautical theme. The pin striped navy and gray wall is what was the foundation for the entire room and color scheme.

Decorating Style

We like to things to look clean, classy, but also unique.

Project Details

A lot of the items included in our nursery are various finds from our favorite website Etsy.

The crib/bureau/rocker combo is from Buy Buy Baby.

The crib is the Keyport.

Favorite Items

The bedding/curtain set absolutely tied everything together. It was custom made and was certainly the best choice for the room.

Advice

Create your nursery slowly and piece by piece. The furniture was the last to arrive and we were then able to slowly put everything in places that we wanted. I was constantly ordering things for the room without trying to go overboard. We did everything ourselves and it was enjoyable being able to create our new babies room as a couple.
