My favorite mainstream go-to craft stores are the Dollar Tree and Michaels. I purchased the majority of my decor elements from these two stores - scrapbook paper, cardstock, crates, gems, treasure chests, pirate hats & accessories, paper stuffing, necklace beads, goblets, frames, paper goods/bowls, and many of the other small details that you see. I purchased the pirate flag fabric and burlap from Joann's.
Some of the amazing DIY projects and details you will find in this party: burlap table runner, burlap bunting and ship sail cake toppers, treasure chest centerpieces with gold doubloons and gems, treasure chest and pirate booty favors, pirate flag and fishing net backdrop, birthday banner, treasure maps made from coloring pages, cake and cupcake stands, goblets, and descriptive tent cards.
DIY Tips: Nearly everything you see in this party were all DIY projects that I made. One I would like to share with you is the cake/cupcake stands. I bought a black plate and candlestick holder from the Dollar Tree. I painted the candlestick holder gold and glued it to the plate - viola - you now have a cake/cupcake stand! I also bought 2 glass goblets from the Dollar Tree and spray painted them a gold/copper color, filling them with paper stuffing, coins, and jewels.
