Description

Isla's 2nd birthday party. Celebrate 2 with a Zoo.

Design Inspiration

A recent visit to Zoo Atlanta and a history podcast highlighting some historical animal collections inspired my fun take on a vintage zoo. You can read all about and see more pictures here on my blog.

Decorating Style

vintage, sweet, sunshiny

Project Details

My favorite details were the mini caramel apples, the back drop for the food table, and the birthday girl hat I designed for my daughter.

Favorite Items

I have to say it was the mini caramel apples. They were perfect for toddlers and really fit the vintage theme and color scheme. Oh and maybe that red petticoat I made for my daughter. You can't go wrong with a petticoat!

Advice

A lot is explained on my blog and I am happy to answer any questions, just ask in the comments section of the blog post.

This party looks like it was truly magical!  I especially love the pictures of the birthday girl with her big bunch of red balloons.  It looks like a magazine cover.

Those mini caramel apples indeed look yummy and a great treat for the young kids. I like the birthday hats, too. And oh, that red skirt looks really adorable!
