Design Inspiration
I knew I wanted something bright, fun, and editorial for Isla's first birthday. I love tea parties and I mad hatter teas are always visually inspiring. And I died over the fact that I could call the party Isla in ONEderland. I'm cheesy like that.

Project Details
My favorite DIY aspect of this party was the hand painted teacups and saucers. I picked up miscellaneous cups and plates at Goodwill and garage sales and painted them to match the party color scheme. Then I filled them with candy and gave them as party favors.
And the lanterns hanging above the table were pretty great too.
Favorite Items
The pink tea pot with the scalloped edging around the lid.

I love the invites! So playful and colorful! I think that the mural is great too, or is that a mural? Everybody looked like they had tons of fun, but Isla looked cute and pretty! It's her day and she certainly owned it!
