- A Project For: Charles
- Age: 1 week
- Location: IL
I wanted a fresh bright nursery for Baby Charles. We chose one Navy wall, and white furniture. My mother made a hungry caterpillar quilt for the bedding, and I made matching curtains. Bright yellow and white zigzag rug adds color. The mobile is felt alphabet letters. On the dresser is a handmade painting of our little dog.
The hungry caterpillar quilt has pops of bold colors on the white background. All the colors came from the quilt.
Fresh, bold colors with traditional furniture.
Jenny Lind Crib and Changing Table- Amazon
Hungry Caterpillar Crib Sheets- Pottery Barn
Yellow and White Zig-Zag Rug - Urban Outfitters
Alphabet Mobile- handmade
Eric Carle Quilt and Curtains- handmade
Green Lamp- Target
Rocking chair- antique handed down from Great Grandma
Charlie Pendant- Paper from Joann's craftstore
I love the caterpillar quilt my mother made for Baby Charlie. I also am in love with the mobile and pendant.
If you find something on a website, don't spend the money, make it yourself. I made the felt alphabet mobile by cutting out the alphabet shapes, stuffing them with fluff, and hanging them from a wooden hoop.
