- A Project For: Charles
- Age: 1 week
- Location: IL

Description:
I wanted a fresh bright nursery for Baby Charles. We chose one Navy wall, and white furniture. My mother made a hungry caterpillar quilt for the bedding, and I made matching curtains. Bright yellow and white zigzag rug adds color. The mobile is felt alphabet letters. On the dresser is a handmade painting of our little dog.
-
Design Inspiration:
The hungry caterpillar quilt has pops of bold colors on the white background. All the colors came from the quilt.
-
Decorating Style:
Fresh, bold colors with traditional furniture.

Advice:
If you find something on a website, don't spend the money, make it yourself. I made the felt alphabet mobile by cutting out the alphabet shapes, stuffing them with fluff, and hanging them from a wooden hoop.
