Project Details

My first baby was a boy so as soon as I found out we were having a girl I knew I had to go for pink.  I toned it down a bit and only did a pink accent wall.

I like the contrast of pink and black and used neutral gray for the other walls.

Found the dresser at Z Gallerie outlet for 1/4 the price. Chandelier from overstock.  Ottoman from Stein Mart. Chair was $1 at a garage sale!  Changing table $15 at garage sale.  Lamp, picture frames, pillows, art, hooks, wall decals, rug, decorative mirror all from Homegoods.  Drapes from carousel design.

Saved add'l money by purchasing an inexpensive but safe crib and minimal crib bedding.  Learned after my first that they quickly outgrow the crib.

Framed P $15 bucks DIY w/ shadow box, ribbon, scrapbook paper and spray painted letter.

Really wish I could change out the carpet and add crown moulding but can always do that at a later date!

What paint did you use for the gray walls?

I think the contrast between pink and black in this room looks really great. I also like your use of different patterns. And those black butterflies on the wall give the room a very dramatic element.
