Description

Hannah was transitioning from a nursery to a toddler room, giving up her old bedroom to her new baby sister. The designed room was an office at one time, with custom built-ins that were to remain in the design of the new room. The existing paint color on the built-ins and trim,Gravel Gray by Ben Moore, was to remain as well. Working with this dark, blue color, I incorporated a crisp, raspberry color that completed it perfectly. The built-in came in handy for all of Hannah's toys, stored neatly in Serena and Lily baskets.

Knowing that the crib wall was the focal point in the room, I found a beautifully, patterned wallpaper at Quadrille that created a striking look to the room. The overall look of the room is best described as an elegant, traditional look with playful pops of color on the bulletin board, accessories and ceiling stripe. Hannah has plenty of room to play and grow in her new big girl space!
