This was my son's 2nd birthday party.
Design Inspiration
It was inspired by the book 'Guess How Much I Love You', which we have read right before bed every night since he was born. It is very special and meaningful and I will always have the memories of the party to help us remember this book.
Decorating Style
Quite a bit rustic and vintage, with modern touches. Quirky and unique.

There were lots of DIY projects: my biggest tip is that everything takes way longer than you think it does, so start planning early. Especially if you have a lot of DIY projects to complete.

Advice
Start collecting items long before your party. Many items in this party were recycled and reused. Keep the color palette earthy and use natural elements to achieve that organic look and feel.

I don't know anything about the book, but everything looks really great from the photos. From the party favors, to the wheelbarrow, to the plant box, to the fresh fruits and veggies!
