I wanted to do something different and unique for my baby girl's nursery.  I didn't want the traditional pink, girly girl theme and I wanted something educational and fun - my husband and I love to travel so I thought a travel themed nursery was perfect!

Design Inspiration

We love to travel and I really love gray, blue and white... I knew I needed to incorporate some pink into the room since she is a girl.  I spent a lot of time on pinterest, etsy and google searching for items that would work in a travel theme nursery.

Decorating Style

I would describe my style is contemporary/modern.

Favorite Items

I love the landmark and star decals, and the world map... both are totally customizable! you pick the color combinations... I was even able to customize the map with the font, quote and colors! The rug is also super soft and affordable! I love the travel gallery wall also - the prints are emailed to you, I printed them out at Costco and bought the frames from Michaels!

Little things, like switching out the knobs on the dresser and accent table make a huge impact! I also tried to personalize what I could and loved Etsy for that - the shop owners really work with you to make exactly what you want!
