A gender-neutral, grey and white nursery
I wanted to create a gender neutral nursery, since we weren't finding out the sex of the baby beforehand. I love the color grey and wanted the room to be soft and serene. Once we found the chevron fabric, we decided to use the turquiose as an accent color. My mom and I had so much fun designing the room together, and we were thrilled with the end result.
I love modern traditional design. I like things to be classic, but love using trends and modern design with accessories and fabrics.
Crib - Restoration Hardware Baby & Child
Rug (no longer available) -Restoration Hardware Baby & Child
Glider - Restoration Hardware Baby & Child
Bedding - custom white velvet and linen;
Chest - painted from craig's list, color Benjamin Moore (sorry did not keep the name of color);
Pouf and Aqua Frame - Z Gallerie;
Drapes - Pottery Barn linen with custom trim;
Lamp - HomeGoods;
Wall Color - Benjamin Moore Moonshine
Mobile - Pottery Barn Kids, no longer available
I absolutely love the wall color! I also think the window treatments turned out great and add a lot to the room.
When using soft colors, play with different textures and fabrics to add dimension. Ready made drapes can be made to look custom by adding fabric trim. Feel free to email me with any questions, as I do not check the comments all the time. email@example.com
