A fresh Mod spin on a little boy's room.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration came from the bedding and many rooms that I saw right here on PN in the gallery.

Check out my blog for more details about the room.  There are additional pictures.  Everyone loves pictures!

Project Details

I wanted the walls to be a simple back drop so I could use bright punches of color throughout the room.  I also used lots of white to keep the room light, bright, and fun.

Favorite Items

My favorite items in the nursery are the bedding (Dwell Studio), the crib, and the unique handmade toys over the changing table.

Advice is your friend when it comes to finding unique toys and decor.  I found tons of inspiration right here at the PN gallery, so start browsing.

I think that the paint color you used is really great!  It really did provide a good backdrop for the room and the colorful accents!  GREAT WORK!!!

I have to agree on the 1st comment. The colors in the entire room compliment each other very well. I love the idea of the pacifiers in the candy jar!! Nice job!

Very cute room.  Loved the pacis in the candy jar, might stole the idea from you!! Where did you get the rug?

I looooove the candy jar idea!!!! (I love the whole room in fact!) Where did you get the pacifiers from?

    Beautiful, great job!!!

I love those sheep cutouts that you used as a mobile!  I love the handmade toys too.  This room is absolutely beautiful!

  7. 7

It’s a little too dark for my taste, but I honestly like it.  The accents is what makes this work.

amazing job! i’m hoping to have a little boy soon, and am almost as excited to decorate/design the nursery as i am to have a baby! it’s a gorgeous room, and i have a feeling i’ll be stealing quite a few ideas from it. imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all :)
