Golf Theme Nursery

Description

Golf Theme Nursery

Design Inspiration

My son lives and breaths golf plus my d-i-l loves to golf too so we thought it would be perfect for a nursery theme!  It's a mod-vintage type decor.

Decorating Style

Traditional with a touch of modern and vintage.

Project Details

Crib us from Restoration Hardware.

Frames and Letters are from Hobby Lobby.

Fabric for frames are from Etsy.

I stained the wooden putters which I bought from Etsy.

I made the mobile myself copying one from Etsy.

The glass dome I bought at Walmart and the baby shoes are my son's first walking shoes from 1982.

I ordered the golf bag cooler, golf ball bank from Amazon.com.

I made the golf tee photo from by buying my own frame from Michael's Craft Store and hot glueing the tees to the frame.

I made this felt mobile myself by buying 2 different sizes of embroidery hoops at Hobby Lobby and using the inside hoop of both to make it.  I made the felt golf items myself by copying what we loved on Etsy.

The dresser we found on Craiglist from someone who had already stained it which went great with the finish on the crib.

We painted the wooden "J" and also bought the green golfing sign from Hobby Lobby.

I ordered the canvas photo of my son golfing from Easy Canvas.

The "Daddy" sign is from Etsy.

So fun! My husband is a huge golfer and I noticed the room you posted because I was looking for baby golf hats online (my son, 7 months, will be a golfer for Halloween!). Also, funny thing - we live close! We're in Cypress (but just on the border with Tomball/Houston). Anyway, I was wondering where you found the black hanging holder for the two golf clubs you have on the wall? We have a few antique golf clubs, but haven't figured out a great way to hang them. Thanks! And congrats on the baby boy!
