Girl’s DIY Floral Baby Shower

Description

I have always been drawn to flowers - I love their ability to brighten up any space. Since my friend was having a baby girl, it was the perfect opportunity to bring flowers in as a theme. This baby shower was hosted at my house, so I didn't have to do much extra decorating since my home was already decorated. I used a similar color palette of turquoise, peach, pink and white. All of the decorations were DIY projects my husband and I made - the flower arrangements, the signs, the diaper cake, the white pallet backdrop, the tissue flowers, the banners, the scalloped banner strung across the dining room ceiling. Because our house is so tiny, I brought all of my chairs from around the house, and collected them in the living room. It gave the room a warm, eclectic feel, which I liked better than simply using folding chairs. This freed up space in the dining room for the food table.
