I really wanted a room that Capri could grow with - no baby animals or pastels for this little diva!
Design Inspiration
Believe it or not, it was a frame designed by Valerie Bertanelli!! It was ornate, bright purple and beautiful. We decided to go with that purple and gray.
Decorating Style
Modern, but warm and most importantly thrifty!
Project Details
Paint was all color matched with fabric or the inspiration frame - Behr
We chose all white furniture - Crib: DaVinci, Dressers: Ikea Malm
Chandy - Craigslist find spray painted heirloom white and draped with threaded beads
Art - Capri's big brother!
Mural - Capri's aunty
Bedding - Capri's grandma
Lamp - Craigslist find - shade was wrapped in ruffle trim
Favorite Items
The Closet!!! We took off the closet doors and replaced with tall white drapes. I think it opens up the entire room!
Advice
Goodwill, Craigslist, antique stores - use your imagination when looking for pieces - a little paint and creativity can make anything a little more glamorous!

Do you have these photos in colored? I cannot truly appreciate them in black and white. although B&W photos are great for portraits.

Love your ruffle lamp! But the real winner's got to be that Audrey Hepburn picture hanging on the wall. She'd make a really great and fab inspiration for little girls.
