Project Details:
We made our own changing pad out of an altered bassinet mattress because standard ones were too large. Also the 3 pictures over the changing table are of my husband's father around age 2 playing with toy cars... so cute.
Favorite Items:
I love the pictures above the crib and the antique-turned-changing table.
Advice:
We got many of the pieces (crib, sectional which fold out into a bed for grandparents, curtains, shelves) at Ikea. The owl lamp and frames are West Elm. The changing table and rocking chair I already owed.

I like the simple elegance of this nursery. My favorite are those vintage photos — photos of your father-in-law — when he was a little boy. I wish I had old have photos of our parents and grandparents, too. Little boys and girls are always interested how their elders look like when they were still young and wrinkle-free!

This is a late comment from a fellow Texan, but would you share where you found your rug? Sheepskin? I’m having a hard time finding one that’s a decent size. Yours is excellent! :) Beautiful nursery… has a perfectly edited feel. Well done! :)
