Everett’s Woodland Nursery

Description

A bright twist on a woodland theme. I used bright blues, greens, white and gray for this Woodland Nursery. I mixed in family heirlooms as well as many new pieces.

Design Inspiration

I found the patterned fabric at a local baby store and fell in love. I was inspired by the bright colors on the cool gray back ground.

Decorating Style

I love to mix and match old with new and traditional with a bit of modern.

Project Details

Our main fabric is New Arrivals, Inc, the comfy chair is from microdst.besthf.com (Quinn Swivel Glider), we found the dresser at a closeout furniture store (Sour Apple My haven from Stanley Young America), the large gray owl, bird book ends and large "E" (which was pink and I painted it with my accent wall color) were found at homegoods, The ceramic bunny and bunny jars were found at target after Easter, the gray side table and glass front cabinet were also a target finds, the crib is the Kendell low profile from Pottery Barn Kids, the woodland prints are from Etsy and the bassinet and booties were family heirlooms. I painted the mattes on prints with my accent wall paint to bring the color around the room.

Favorite Items

My favorite items in the room are the chair, bunny jars and the large gray owl.

Advice

My advice is find something you love as the jumping off point. Mine was the fabric and owl. Plus don't over do any one thing...
