Description

A calm whimsical nursery for a little baby boy named Ethan.

Design Inspiration

The lamp pendent was the inspiration for the room.  I got it from Stray Dog Designs.

Decorating Style

I am all over the place with my style. I love anything that makes me happy!

Project Details

Favorite Items

My favorite item in the room is the paper car.  I got it from a little art store in Havana, Cuba. I love it!

Advice

Don't try to match everything or go over board with a theme. Make sure to pick pieces that complement each other and of coarse pick pieces that you love!

Great room!  I love the little wall book holder and painter verse, great personal touch!

I absolutely love that everything isn’t so matchy-match and yet coordinates perfectly! The DwellStudio Owls complements the alphabet crib bedding and gives the room both dimension and character. Just awesome!

Loving the subtle hues or colors you used in this room. It is simple and unassuming. Gives the room that unassuming and relaxing feel.

Please tell where you got the bedding, owl accessories, cool suitcases, and the little shelf on the wall.  Thanks!

To previous poster: Those suitcases are from Land of Nod (they have more colors to choose from too), and I “think” I saw that bedding at BabiesRUs…

I LOVE this bedding. I found it right after finishing my son’s nursery, or I would have gone in that route. I also LOVE the way you turned an inexpensive shelf into the book shelf! Such similar finds can be costly! I may have to steal this idea!
