Description:
This luxe room is super girly with bright pinks and bold patterns. This mom wanted over the top and I think we got it!

Design Inspiration:
I fell in love with the rug. It looks and feels like silk but it's 100% synthetic, so perfect for little feet and messes! The rug had such eye catching shades of pink, green, and yellow, it became the centerpiece and palette for the rest of the room.

Decorating Style:
I love pink (can you tell?!) and I love transitional to modern design with equal parts whimsy and elegance. My decorating style always takes a cue from my clients wishes and I love to create rooms in all different styles- it makes my job very fun!!

Favorite Items:
I love the wall stencil! It adds so much interest to the room and is the perfect scale. I hired a pro to paint it but it is pretty easy to do if you have the time- all it takes is a little planning and some paint! And I absolutely love the newborn and maternity photography displayed on the stenciled wall. We used gallery mount frames to make the images really stand out.

Advice:
Choose a neutral wall paint color and add pops of color with rugs, art, drapery, and accessories. Find one item that you love and build around it.
