- A Project For: Devin
- Age: 12 Weeks
- Location: Woolwich, NJ

Description:
I am Tall - Giraffe Themed Nursery. We wanted to create a cheerful, happy environment. My husband added trim around the room and painted the top portion and ceiling baby blue. The bottom portion was painted beige. Accents and accessories focus on giraffes and the alphabet.
-
Design Inspiration:
I have always loved giraffes and since Devin is tall like his parents the giraffe theme was born. The alphabet and books were added to strengthen the nursery theme and foster a love for reading. Project nursery was a great resource for ideas.
-
Decorating Style:
A relaxed traditional style with some contemporary elements.

Wooden Alphabet from (Simplysawdust on Etsy.com) were spray painted and taped to the wall with industrial two-sided tape. (I was nervous about using liquid nails in the nursery with all the toxic warnings)

Giraffe photographs from allposters.com.

Favorite Items:
I love everything in the room! The glider is the most comfortable one I tested. The crib converts to a full size bed so it is beautiful and functional.

Advice:
Create a design board or save images electronically as you search the Internet for inspiration and products. Great planning in the beginning of the project will save you money and result in a better end product.
