Design Inspiration:
The incredible custom wallpaper was definitely the inspiration for this room. We wanted to create a bedroom that this young woman would love, and when we worked with her to create the fun, funky wallpaper, we knew we would have a hit!

Project Details:
The gorgeous canopy bed in a beautiful black finish is a lasting piece that can transition through many design styles over the years. We added the colorful privacy curtains to create a very personal space for this almost-teenage girl. The fabulous wallpaper was custom designed and produced for this room and is a new generation of removable vinyl wallpaper (similar to a large wall decal). In addition to the wild wallpaper treatment, we added painted borders of black around the room, as well as the colorful ceiling.

Advice:
When tackling something like a bold accent wall - whether with wallpaper, stencils, decals, faux finish, artwork or wherever your imagination may take you - be sure create to balance on the other walls. And, don't be afraid of using color - clearly we're not!
