The rug from Anthropologie!  After finding this little gem, I carefully selected pieces to compliment this special piece.

Favorite Items

The Rug!  I also love the flamingo print. Oh, and the light fixture... I am obsessed with that too!

Advice

I like to find one piece that I can't live without, small or large, and build a room around that item, specifically.  For Marann's nursery, it was the rug that I could not live without.  I spend a lot of time looking for great deals, and one-of-a-kind finds.  For some of the nursery staples, I went with neutral colors that could easily work in a second child's nursery in the future.  The rug features so many fun accent colors, I was very careful too not go overboard with color in other places, so as to not compete with rug.  We are really happy with the way it turned out, and I think baby girl likes it too!
