Decorating Style
I am usually a traditional with a funky twist but for this nursery wanted to do modern.
Project Details
The room was a cream color with chocolate brown stripe at the crown moulding and through the middle of the room. Furniture was Babyletto. Wall decals I found on Etsy.com., rug was on Overstock.com, several accent pieces such as the orange dog tails were Ikea. The art work was hand painted by my husband.
Favorite Items
I really love the art canvas' of the giraffe and elephant and the name decal in chocolate and orange.
Advice
I mixed expensive pieces with cheap pieces to create an overall rich look without spending a fortune! I love to mix things up and not be to matchy matchy. Everything was found at different locations and pulled together.
