Colorful and Creative

Description

Travis’ Mother and Aunt enjoyed a wonderful bonding experience pulling together his colorful and creative nursery.

Project Details

The quick run down:

Green ‘Billy’ bookshelves from Ikea
White toy storage from The Company Kids
Red crib (no longer available) by Ragazzi
‘Fiesta’ bedding by Sweet Kyla
Baskets in changing table and floor lamp also from Ikea

For inexpensive, interactive wall art, flashcards are a wonderful way to go. Travis’ Mom uses beautifully illustrated Eeboo wall cards. Shown here, the cards are adhered onto the wall with small round velcro dots. What a great way to prevent flashcards from being bent! And when it’s comes time for Travis, learning his ABC’s should be a breeze.

I like this nursery not because it looks professionally designed, but because I can tell a lot of thought went into it. This isn't just a nursery; this is your child's room. Everything is functional and I'm sure a kid will have a blast living in this room. I can say though, having a 16 month old nephew, those curtains on the closet won't last long!
