Nursery Rhyme Inspired French Nursery
Design Inspiration
Classic nursery rhymes inspired me to create this nursery. I wanted to create a beautiful timeless room that can be enjoyed for years to come.
Decorating Style
I have always had a love for classic french design and when I found out I was expecting I knew that I wanted to create a nursery to reflect that.
Project Details
Most of the furniture I custom designed from AFK (armoire, dresser, change top, and bookcase), and they are absolutely beautiful! I really wanted each piece to be different and unique, so they can stand alone if I ever separated them. The heirloom iron crib is by Bratt Decor and the custom bedding is by Nava's Designs. The tufted chair has been in my family for years and was simply recovered in a cream chenille fabric. All of the accessories in the bookcase and armoire where items that belonged to my husband and I. They really add personal touches to the space.
Favorite Items
My favorite item in the room would have to be the Grand Armoire. It is such a beautiful piece and is such a statement. I can see this growing with my daughter through out her life.

absolutely beautiful! I love the custom furniture. How did you get the mural to crackle?. I believe the rating they gave you was way off. shouldve been much higher. whats not to love?

This is BEAUTIFUL! I love the nursery rhyme theme and the classic french furniture. I have french style furniture in my little girl's (granddaughter) room also! I did a nursery rhyme theme in my son's nursery 33 years ago! I custom made his bedding in different sizes of yellow gingham! I love her crib bedding...Nava's design bedding is so detailed. Very classic nursery for Isabella!

You did a great job on this nursery. I believe the nursery rhyme theme is a great idea. There might be some other meanings behind the nursery rhymes but all I think of is my childhood.
