Description
This is the nursery that we created for our little guy. It is a mixture of old items from my daughter's nursery and new.
Design Inspiration
My 3 year old daughter nicknamed my son "Baby Bronco" after the Denver Bronco's while I was pregnant with him. This theme held over to the nursery, so we used the color scheme of orange and blue. I loved the pottery barn kids circus bedding that I had for my daughter and wanted to reuse it.
Decorating Style
I would say my decorating style is pottery barn and diy. I really enjoy bringing in my own work into a room. It is important for a room to functional and comfortable.
Project Details
The furniture is the New Haven collection by Stanley Young America. The bedding and many decorations are discontinued from Pottery Barn Kids. The Monkey storage containers are from the container store. Orange Lamp from Target.
Favorite Items
My favorite item is the paint treatment inspired by a Pottery Barn Kids ad. I love the colors and feel it will last not only as a fun nursery, but as our little guy grows.
Advice
The painting was the most difficult part of the room. It was really helpful to get good lines and then you can use the painter's tape the width of the stripes to help reduce the work.

Neat and nice modern-style nursery! I think the stripes really added a point of interest to the room's overall look.
