Chic Glamorous Nursery

Description

My daughter, Ella Sophia's nursery started out as a blank room and I wanted to transform it into a chic, yet glamorous, comfortable place. I used calm colors, such as pale pink and metallics, along with rose accents. At 22 months, we converted her crib into a bed and rearranged the furniture. We took away the glider and added a bookcase that was mine growing up.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration for the project came from a pink and gold nursery off of Project Nursery. It immediately came to me that I needed to do an accent wall with wallpaper to achieve the look I was going for.

Decorating Style

French country/chic. I like to mix more traditional items with some modern touches.

The handmade footprints are the most unique, but the accent wall is probably my favorite part of her room.

Advice

Be creative! We used crib bows as drape ties and mixed expensive pieces with low end ones.
