Cherry’s Nursery

Description

We created this nursery for our little girl.

Design Inspiration

We wanted to create something modern and contemporary but with a girlie feel. I am not a fan of yellows and pinks so wanted to achieve something that will be still very sweet but with a modern twist.

Decorating Style

Modern and contemporary

Project Details

Majority of furniture and interior comes from Mamas & Papas, which is my favorite store for quality baby stuff. This includes the wall stickers. The paint is Dulux Watercolor Green. My partner painted the wooden blinds and built in wardrobe doors, incl. room doors. The carpet is quite thick and lovely as I wanted my baby to have a nice soft floor to mess about on. The dotted rug is from Laura Ashley.  The cow rug is from JellyCat and I bought it from eBay, it was a real bargain.  White shelves are from Habitat.

Favorite Items

I love everything in the room! I think the stickers complete the look massively.

Advice

Have fun with the colors, it doesn't always have to be pink or yellow!

I bookmarked your site. This is exactly I'm looking for.

Thanks for the idea. Seems like Mamas & Papas does have good finds. I should hit the store again one of these days.

@AngelsBreath - yes, it's from Mamas & Papas as well. They do fantastic colours for boys and girls, really cute.

That CHERRY lettering is cute. Love their pastel colors. Did you get that from Mamas and Papas as well?

I agree that the stickers really did change the look of your room and made it very playful.  But I love it that you just didn't clutter the wall but had them all clustered up like that.
