Ava’s Cherry Blossom Nursery

Description

My husband and I used white, grey, and pink to create the cherry blossom nursery. We ordered a decal offline, and crafted several of the items. The crib sheet, pillow, curtains, wreath and button art "Ava" sign were all handmade, puttingĀ our friends, families, and own creativity to work. We also had a friend redesign her closet so that it was more functional and looked way better!

Design Inspiration

I went on Pinterest quite a bit, and we had several family members and friends help with different projects. Most of the initial ideas came from the decal as the central focus. The button art idea came when a student in my class brought in a bag full of buttons that she no longer wanted.

Decorating Style

I'm usually not the best at restraining myself or sticking with a theme. I like lots of color, and mismatching items. However, I am usually disappointed with the results of my styling efforts. With the help of my husband, I tried to keep things as coordinated as possible, and I love how it turned out!
