Carter’s Bright Nursery with Tractors

Description

I am married to farmer and he wanted to decorate the nursery using the John Deere theme. I wanted to decorate the nursery with bright colors. My mother-in-law sent me a picture of the bedding from etsy with bright colors that incorporated tractors and I was immediately hooked!

Design Inspiration

I began the process by looking at Pinterest and Project Nursery. I really loved the bright nurseries with aquas, greens, grays, and oranges. Eventually I realized I would not be able to recreate what I was looking at, so I decided to go with my own twist on the color schemes that I liked. Carter's nursery ended up taking on more lime green and orange than any other color.

Decorating Style

Modern..I would also have to add that I am extremely picky. I finally came to the conclusion that all of the colors did not have to be exact.

Favorite Items

My favorite item would be the sign above Carter's crib. It was designed by my Dad and his friend and then the wood press machine was used (or something). It has meaning behind it and is something Carter can always use that his "Pops" gifted to him.

Advice

Enjoy! This was one of my favorite parts of the pregnancy. It is also nice to have the nursery completed before his arrival. All that is missing is our sweet boy!
