My sister-n-law threw a carnivall themed baby shower for us in honor of our baby girl.
Design Inspiration
I really wanted a fun event that my husband could come to, along with other family members and not just a girly shower. My sister-n-law brought in all the carnival type foods. It was amazing.

Project Details
My sister-n-law has really gotten into building and reupholstering furniture in the past year and built a photo booth prop that everyone really fell in love with. It was so fun to have everyone dress up with props and take pictures. She did everything for the party herself. She bought a snocone maker, popcorn popper and pretzel warmer on Craigslist. Her husband made chili, hotdogs and nachos. The party favors were fish floating in shower gel. Most of the items were purchased through craft stores or Oriental Trading.
Favorite Items
My favorite item had to be the photo booth because everyone stayed very entertained with that especially the kids. I love all the food and loved that it was carnival food.
Advice
Have fun with it and think about what will keep everyone entertained during the event. You don't want anyone sitting around bored.
