Callen’s Room to Grow In

Description

I loved that I finally got a chance to decorate a little boys room, considering he has two older sisters into pinks and purples!  I wanted to create something Callen could grow in and love as a toddler.

Design Inspiration

I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted the nursery to look like.  The photo that hangs above the crib is of my father-in-laws cabin I took a couple years back.  My kids spend a lot of time here adventuring!  Then came the deer and wood headboard and it just all fell together!

Decorating Style

I like more of an eclectic style.

Project Details

We did a lot of DIY projects. From the headboard, the changing pad tray, the shelf, the fabric covered antler rack and felt mobile.  I really love the dresser and nightstand I found at Goodwill for $40!  A little paint and voila!  The sheets, changing pad cover, and moose pillow are from one of my favorite Etsy shops, IvieBaby!  Bedspread, sheets and linen baskets from H&M. The arrows, wooden toys, botanical chart above bed and prints from Etsy shops as well.

Favorite Items

The deer sheets and cord lighting above dresser.

Advice

Create a room board!  I go a little OCD sometimes but I really love how you can see how things will fit and work together when laid out on the computer or paper!  Take your time finding things that will best suit your style and the room!
