- A Project For: Caleb
- Age: 4 months
- Location: Texas
-
Description:
A calming, yet fun room out-of-the-box of traditional baby boy themes.
-
Design Inspiration:
We are raising our boys bilingually so I decided to incorporate the Spanish alphabet and numbers. The colors were based around the fabrics. Many of the ideas came from Pinterest.
-
Decorating Style:
Simple, contemporary
-
Project Details:
We had many DIY projects in this room. I painted a dresser, nightstand and bookcase that we already owned and my mom made the bedskirt, pennants, floor pillow, throw pillow and changer cover. Favorite Items:
It's so hard to decide. I love the alphabet cards and my cozy corner with the rocker.
-
Advice:
Start early so you don't feel rushed into buying things. That way you can pick up cute items as you see them. I also carried around swatches of the fabric and paint colors with me, so if I saw something I could see if it would match (or coordinate).
