Description
I have been wanting to create a travel/world inspired nursery for a couple of years now, and was so excited to finally be expecting in order to do so! I have been collecting ideas (mostly on Pinterest) and have finally been able to put them to use.
Design Inspiration
My husband and I love to travel. I hope to inspire my son to embrace other cultures and have an interest in the world and all of the people in it.
Decorating Style
I'm not sure I would have a specific word to describe it, I just like what I like. I wanted this room to be bright and fun with a lot of "homemade" or redesigned, unique pieces.
Project Details
This nursery was done on a budget! I tried to find fun pieces that were also affordable. I also did a lot of DIY.

Favorite Items
Probably the dresser! It was dirty and coated with nail polish, but after a good sanding, the perfect paint color, and the bright blue knobs, you would never guess it!
Advice
I love a good bargain! I hunted around for steals from the time I found out I was pregnant, and I think I still achieved a somewhat expensive looking room :) Don't just buy the first thing you come across; do some searching and be creative.
