Brooklynn’s Room

Description

I swore I would never paint a room pink if I had a little girl.... well never say never!

Design Inspiration

I wanted to do a room that was fun and cute but looked good in such a small space..

Decorating Style

I really wanted a simple yet modern look with her room.

Project Details

This room is very small and was very hard to work with at first after long nights planning it out we finally found a way to make it look nice. I made the Bedding and changing table cover.

Favorite Items

It is  all my favorite if I did not love it, it did not make it past the room door :)

Advice

Keep it simple and cheap. This room cost me less then $500.00 (crib & Changing table included ) and I love how it turned out! You don't have to spend tons of $ to get a fun cute look.

@ Tiffany

I am not a seamstress at all!! I actually bought a sewing machine to do this project and I think the last time I had touched one was in 7th grade! It was pretty simple I will have to post a tuturiol on my blog (http://www.thekoylelife.blogspot.com/)! I will do that soon!

@ Ysczabel

I found the crib and changing table at overstock.com! I just waited for a good deal and snatched them up!! :)

OMG! Great budget room.  It could even pass as an expensive room.  Please do tell us where you got the crib and all!

Wow, it's really cute and I love that you did it on a budget!! I just posted a nursery that I spent less than $500 on (with pink walls--and I said the exact same thing!!).  Question- are you an avid seamstress?  I'm expecting again and want to attempt to make the bedding BUT I'm scared to sew!  I haven't used a sewing machine since middle school! ;)  Any tips or tutorials you'd offer?  Thanks.  Great room.  Thanks for sharing!!
