A Project For

Boy/Girl Twins!

Age

Born August 2012

Location

Maui, Hawaii

Description

A bright & cheerful nursery for Boy/Girl Twins.

Design Inspiration

We wanted a fun space that would grow with the babies and be suitable for both a boy & a girl. We chose bright colors, lots of prints and added personal touches everywhere we could to create a room that makes you want to smile when you enter the room. Hopefully, the twins will think so too!

Project Details

I painted the canvas art work inspired by Hawaiian images. I also made the hawaiian baby quilts... one for each of them. My Dad made all the shelving fpr us and my mom handsewed the couch quilt.  The turquoise rug is from urbanoutfitters.com. Sheets were custom made and designed by Holly of ModifiedTot on Etsy her shop is http://www.etsy.com/shop/modifiedtot

Favorite Items

So hard to choose! There are so many homemade treasures in this room but maybe the baby quilts!! We will cherish those forever...

I love how you managed to incorporate a colour pallette and theme suited to both genders. It’s so happy.
