Description

When I first started looking for design inspiration I found OWLS! Once I picked out the bedding I designed the room to match it.

Design Inspiration

Owls and Lime Green. The room was already painted, when I painted the room I knew I wanted Lime Green walls in the nursery, so I decided on PINK and LIME GREEN as the nursery's main colors

Decorating Style

BRIGHT! I love bright colors and wanted the room to be fun and full of color.

Project Details

The dresser and bookcase were built by my husband and father-in-law. The crib is Graco Lauren Classic Crib in natural purchased on amazon.com but available in various resources. The glider had an ugly blue fabric that I recovered with the pretty bright fabric from JoAnn Fabrics. The bookslings were made by a tutorial found through pinterest, there are lots of tutorials that are basically all the same.

Favorite Items

The glider - it was my first big sewing project and I love the finished product!

Advice

Look for inspiration everywhere.

I like the natural wood colors of your furniture. They look like they’re made of cedar wood. The rest of the room looks really girly and very fitting for your little princess.

This looks so much like the type of room I would love to see my new grand daughter growing up in…thanks for the photo’s, and I plan on sending this info to my daughter for her approval. Great job!
