A Project For
I wanted to have a bright and sunny nursery that would grow with our daughter.
I found inspiration through Project Nursery, Pinterest and personal creativity.
I wanted to have the patterns and colors to match throughout the room. I really loved the pale yellow wall color and the aqua and white colors. I added a touch of floral to add a feminine touch to our little girls nursery.
Bedding, curtains and diaper changing pad - all handmade by seamstress Holly Alfton at Modifiedtot
Butterfly wall decals - Surface Inspired at Etsy
Glider - purchased used
Mirror and bookshelves - Ikea. Mirror was spray painted white to give an antique look
Bookends - Land of Nod
Afghan - handmade gift from a family member
Bench - Home Depot
Crib - Graco by LaJobi
Child's rocking chair - family heirloom
Sheepskin Rug - Costco
dresser and end table - Cafe'Kid

One of my favorite items in the room is the child's rocking chair that was my grandmothers when she was a child. I also love the glider, mirror, butterfly decals and fabric used throughout the room.
