Description:
I wanted her room to be a place where we both loved being. Something sweet. I love pink but it is often over done in a little girl's room. So when I found her crib set it just all fell together. I didn't want to theme her room so I chose to go with the color scheme more than just the lady bugs. The lady bugs I used more as an accesory than a theme.
Design Inspiration:
I got a lot of my inspiration from this site just looking at other nurseries that other mother and fathers did. My husband is deployed so the nursery became my project to stay busy and I'm completely happy with it. I just go in there and sit in my recliner and stare at the room. I'm in love <3
Decorating Style:
I would describe the style of her room as simply sweet. With all the pastel colors, the floating puff balls, and the polka dots.

Your camera makes the colors look almost metallic. I’m not sure how the colors really appear when you use natural lighting. Anyhow, the quilt is really lovely.

Yes, I agree with Dandelion. I can’t seem to appreciate the colors much. Even that pretty little wreath made of ribbons. The shadow boxes are also cute, by the way.
