Modern grey and navy nursery that was put together by me!
Design Inspiration
I wanted a different nursery for my baby boy, something clean, simple and fresh. I went with a simple color palette and used a lot of fun textures and designs to jazz up the space. The deer decals were the first piece I bought and then I built the room around that.
Decorating Style
Modern, simple, fresh, low maintenance and lots of DIY!
Project Details
I got several items at ikea, such as the rug, lamp, shelves and frames. I got the rug from home decorators collection. The furniture came from babies r us and the decals came from innovative stencils. The rest was DIY like the mobile hanging over the crib. The paint is called seal by Benjamin Moore
Favorite Items
My favorite item is definitely the lamp! When I saw it at ikea I knew I had to incorporate it into the room!
Advice
Follow your gut. Go with pieces that speak to you. One of the most memorable pieces I got was an owl at pier one and I wasn't even shopping for the nursery.
