Description
When I found out I was having a boy I knew I wanted baby blue to be one of the colors. I wanted something classic & not too kiddy. I am also obsessed with monogramming so I knew there would be alot of monogrammed accents. I eventually decided brown and white would be good secondary colors and because we have three dogs, love them so much and knew what a large part of Braeden's life they would be, I chose to tie in things that represented them.

The clean look of Restoration Hardware Baby & Child, our three dogs and tying in as many diy projects to help save money and achieve getting exactly what I wanted

Project Details
I took a swatch of the Restoration Hardware paint color cloud blue to Lowe's and had them match it. I used Valspar eggshell paint which I love because it usually only needs one coat even when covering other colors.

Advice
Pick 1 or 2 things to splurge on that you really love and make you happy and then keep an open mind for everything else. I originally planned to get a super expensive bedding set from Restoration Hardware but figured out a much less expensive way to achieve a similar effect. Also, shop around your house before you rush out and buy things. I had a huge list of things to buy that I was able to eliminate by repurposing things I wasn't using.
