The long shelf is my favorite thing in the room,  it was something I had seen on PN and my husband duplicated it for me!

Advice

Find things in a high end store that you love and shop until you find them elsewhere or create it on your on!

    I can imagine myself walking into this room and loving the minimalist feel.  Yeah, I agree with you on the clean lines and that giraffe lamp is a NICE NICE touch.

    You know what, I do that too.  I try to get design inspiration from really expensive places and scour yardsales for similar looking lamps, or fixtures.  

    I like this room.  But isn’t it too bare?

    Thanks! The room is actually small so we wanted to keep it neat! The giraffe lamp is actually from a garage sale, and I love it!
