A Blue and White Tribal-Inspired Boy’s Playroom

Description

This is a fun boy's playroom I put together for our two boys! It's decorated with bargain finds, DIY projects, and lots of creativity.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration started with the navy and white arrow print rug. It led me to a subtle tribal theme but I also stuck to a classic color palette.

Decorating Style

I love blue and white and have that color palette throughout my home. I also love bright white spaces, which is definitely reflected in this playroom.

Project Details

This playroom is full of DIY projects as well as affordable accessories from stores like Target, Ikea, and Home Goods. For a complete source list, you can visit here.

Favorite Items

It's hard to choose a favorite item in here! I love the teepee because it was a DIY project, making it one-of-a-kind! I also love the enlarged photo tapestry, which also was a DIY project. The built-in seat which doubles as lots of storage for toys is also a favorite because it helps keep the mess and chaos hidden!

Advice

My advice is to have fun with it! A playroom is a whimsical and creative space for children so don't worry about following any decorating rules.
