The room design was centered around the dresser/changing table. I loved the weathered-grey finish on this piece. I also knew I wanted to incorporate vintage wooden toys on display to give the room a touch of classic Americana.

I am expecting a baby in October 2012! My roots have now been firmly planted in sunny Southern California where my husband and I purchased our first home together. Our HOME is sort of our first BABY. We nursed a “total fixer” back to health as do-it-yourself novices. It’s a project that has consumed the last 2+ years of our lives but has taught us so much in the process. I am a passionate “planner” who loves taking on any project that requires creativity and research. I can spend hours scouring the internet, magazines and books for information, new products and inspiration. My creativity is best expressed through my love for crafts, cooking, home renovation, party planning and now… designing a nursery!
