Our little Bella Bug turned one and we celebrated ladybug style! A bright and fun party perfectly fit for our little bug!
Design Inspiration:
Even before she was born we fondly called our little girl Bella Bug. I thought using her nickname would be the perfect inspirtation for her first birthday party!
Decorating Style:
Bright, fun and unique!
Project Details:
Everything at my little bug's party was lovingly created by her mommy (me!). I even created the printout graphics for her cupcake picks and wipes container. I enjoyed every minute creating the perfect party for my Bella's first birthday celebration! **only graphic/printout not created by me was the candybar wrappers found on ebay.
Favorite Items:
I think my favorite thing would have to be the goodie table. A lot of thought, work and preparation went into creating and executing my vision. I also love the tutus and antenna headbands that were given out to all the little lady guests! They were a big hit with the little ladies!

Your party was really creative and colorful. I like what you did with the sweet treats and incorporated them into your theme and your color scheme.
Thank you! I really put a lot of thought and hard work into creating this party for my little girl! :)

Very cute. I am doing a ladybug theme for my little girl’s first birthday too. I’ve started collecting ideas and supplies even though it is 7 months away. I love the antenna headbands. May steal that idea!
Thank you! It’s never too early to start planning! I booked the hall the week my daughter was born! Lol! The sooner you start planning creating the better, I say! Their birthdays roll around before you even know it! :) The antennas were such a fun and easy project, you should definitely give them a try!

I absolutely adore Bella’s party! Such an awesome theme. VERY creative. Looove the little lady bugs. Such a special party for such a special little girl <3
Hi! The oreos were super easy! I started by twisting the oreos apart and then used a lollipop stick to gauge out a channel in the cream. Next I dipped the stick in melted chocolate and place it in the channel I created in the cream then I pressed the oreo back together. Refridgerate the oreos for about half an hour to cure. Next I dipped them in the pink and placed back into the fridge for about 20 minutes. Last I dipped the top half in the black chocolate and piped on the dots using a baggie filled with black chocolate that I snipped a small hole in the corner! I hope these directions help!
