Description

I created a Beach Barbie party for my daughter's 4th Birthday to capture her love and fascination for all things Barbie.

Design Inspiration

My daughter's favorite movie is Barbie in a Mermaid's Tale, so the movie was the inspiration for the party along with her two favorite colors, pink and purple.

Project Details

I created lifesize surfboards for the backdrop of the dessert table and used vinyl cutouts to dress up the boards and tie the Beach Barbie theme together.  The cake was the center of the dessert table accompanied by several other sweets and candies to choose from.

For activities at the party, the girls colored Barbie coloring pages, made charm bracelets and decorated flip flops.  The girls took home their creations and other favors in little pink baskets decorated with the Barbie silhouette and ribbon.

The surfboards are so cute! Did you make them out of styrofoam? And I love how you decorated them with hibiscus. They look so Hawaii!!!
