I created this nursery based on the bedding and fabric that I purchased as soon as I found out what I was having. I wanted something fun, light and fresh.
Design Inspiration:
The Serena & Lily Rory bedding was my inspiration along with their sprout/indigo beach stripe fabric.

Dog print - used my photography business logo which was designed by Kristi Young of Kristi Young Design www.kristiyoungdesign.blogspot.com - We then blew up the size of the lab and traced it on 9 12x12 canvases
Favorite Items:
The dog art work above the crib is my favorite. The dog design comes from my logo for my photography business (logo created by Kristi Young of Kristi Young Design www.kristiyoungdesign.blogspot.com), so we traced it onto 9 12x12 canvases and painted the outside area with Serena & Lily's navy paint
Advice:
The nursery was created with the help of my mom and sister. Everything is homemade except for the spot on square animal wall panels.

Nice, light, refreshing room. I could definitely see myself as a parent enjoying that room. It’s not all about the babies afterall! Mom and Dad should enjoy the nursery too. That black clip on light, though surely functional, is a bit odd to me.

Cool and refreshing colors you used. And you played the navy blue and the lime green well. The budget-friendly element surely gains a plus point, too.

Where did you get the JAKE letters and the ABC letters on the shelf? Do you mind listing where you got more of the things in the room, such as the window treatments also, and the prints and frames and baskets sitting on the cube shelf? Love it!

- letters are from Michaels and I just painted them

- abc letters & 123 numbers on the shelf are also from Michaels, and I just painted them myself

- fabric for the window treatments is from Serena & Lily, and my mom made them (fake roman shades) & the white panels are from pottery barn kids

- the frames are just cheap frames that I picked up from target and painted them myself

- baskets are from pottery barn kids

What does it mean when you say the color is at 50%?

Was wondering about the paint color myself…. it looks like a light blue is that bc its at 50%? It doesn’t look green at all!
