My goal was to create a bright, airy, fun nursery that can easily be transformed into a unisex nursery for baby #2.
Design Inspiration:
I wanted to create a bright and airy nursery. The room is small and has limited space so the bottom wainscotting was my inspiration.
Decorating Style:
Transitional/modern/vintage
Project Details:
My favorite part of this room is the white panel half wall my husband installed. I love it and feel like it opens up the room.
Favorite Items:
My favorite items are my DIY wall letters, the closet baskets, the glider and ottoman I scored for $225 and the Ikea Hemnes dresser.
Advice:
Try to stay away from the theme-y bedding. Stick to solid colors you love and dont try to be too matchy.

I really love nurseries that use soft, subtle colors. And yeah, it works for either boy or girl, so it will still be great if you have a daughter next time around. You did a wonderful job!

The shelf was actually in my nursery when I was a baby but they sell one similar at Target.com.

My husband worked tirelessly on the white paneled wall for days. It was a first for him and Im so happy with how it came out. =)

I hope its not too late. I got the bedding from Marshall’s. Its Kenneth Brown Jumping For Joy Grasshopper. You can still find it on clearance at BRU. The glider and Ottoman are from are from Burlington Coat factory / Baby Depot. They have great deals on furniture.
